In reply to: Hostgator install & developmentActually, it didn’t work. Probably because I used Fantastico, which used the projected URL rather than the IP address for the install. So, when I try to log in, it tries to go the to the projected URL.

In reply to: HackedHostgator says it is fixed, but it isn’t. When I try to log in I get this error:
ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?
ERROR: Cookies are blocked or not supported by your browser. You must enable cookies to use WordPress.The second error has a link to a Google third party cookie enablement page. I’ve never had to do this before, and I have several WP sites.
Please advise.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve disabled everything but 2010, on Localhost. The other options work fine. My redirected page is http://localhost/index.html
I love the idea of this plugin — just what the doctor ordered.
I tried to log into you hooziewhats site, but the login link took me to the WordPress log in. I tried it, but it didn’t work.
When I used the second method, to add my own HTML, I added
<script type="text/javascript"> window.location="http://localhost/index.html" </script>and it works fine.
Ah, but it does. I have tried it at the end of the file and it consistently doesn’t work. Don’t underestimate my ignorance.
