This is resolved. I found where to control this. Each Testimonial post has the option to provide a specific “Read More URL” and an option to “Not link this Testimonial to any Read More URL”. Works perfectly for my needs.

Tried it on a site where WP is installed in sub-directory and all images now show. Thanks.
