Update:
The solution I did was just a temp fix.
I even contacted the developer of the theme I am using but was told it was a possible issue with Total Cache plugin, specifically when I used the minify option.
I disabled said option, even reinstalled the theme and I still have the same issue :/
Anyone knowledgeable here to enlighten me as to how to fix this issue?

I simply leveraged the browser caching through .htaccess. I followed the fool proof instructions of Softstribe.
