I simply gave up on cron, and visit the couple of sites i have running wp-o-matic each day and manually update…takes only 1 minute…feedwordpress does update happily on its own, so i use that on site where i am lazy 😉
I also have the same problem – first digit of price getting chopped when feed is imported. Strangely though I have noticed this only actually occurs when the price is in US$ – GB£ is just fine with all digits…
It doesn’t look like there is much need to install both plugins, as the Dagon Design one outputs a human-readable map, as well as having a link at its foot to the XML equivalent which can be used to submit to google etc.
