I’ve found that I can upgrade users by accessing the mysql database directly.

What can be deduced from this…

1. the database must be working ok.

2. the page users.php is not passing along the instructions to the database.

3. Users.php has not changed (dont see how it could have).

4. The only thing that has changed since it worked ok is the total number of users (and the date obviously).

hmmm…
