In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Calendar view does not display eventsHello again,
I did some testing and I found that the calendar works with WP 2016 Theme, but not with the theme we are using and would like to be using. We use Lovecraft. I also updated the Lovecraft theme to see if that would work, but it hasn’t.
As a temporary fix, we may need to convert to WP2016 Theme, but would likely prefer to use our “current” Lovecraft theme.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Calendar view does not display eventsHello,
We are having the same issue as bednerro and angel75.
Though we recently installed a reCaptcha plugin, we also updated the Events Calendar to the current version and now it does not display: http://www.ontarionature.org/connect/blog/events/category/ontario-nature/
I deactivated the last plugin we installed, because Events Calendar worked fine before that and before the update. Though deactivating the plugin had no effect.
The calendar is currently not displaying and we are at an important point in need of the calendar, our large constituency also relies on the calendar and needs to access it.

In reply to: [evolve] Slew of error notices after upgrade, please helpHello Romik,
Yes, it turns out that a plugin did generate those error notices. I deactivated and reactivated the plugins one by one until I came to the problematic plugin. Thank you very much for this insight!

In reply to: [evolve] Slew of error notices after upgrade, please helpThank you Romik,
That solution got rid of the first seven notices.
Do you know the solution to get rid of the following notices?
“Notice: get_currentuserinfo is deprecated since version 4.5! Use wp_get_current_user() instead. in /home4/ontarion/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3658”
Many appreciative thanks!

In reply to: [demon image annotation] URL text dissapearsHi Del,
I never did get a response, and it turns out that I was able to find a work around, by using somewhat different software to enable a similar and appealing workable result.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Install error and vanishing calendarHello Brook,
Thanks for responding.
I believe it was resolved as such:
It turns out that we had used all our available inodes. There were a number of very old items within archived files. Once these ancient unused files were removed we regained the capacity to use WordPress and its plugins.
Thank you however for your helpful insight.
Best,

It also occured to me that here on in I’ll post in the the Theme4Press Evolve Plus forums, towards looking for Evolve Plus support.
There are related similar issues:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10207330/jquery-flickering-on-dropdown-menus-on-hoverYour solution may work, I’ll try again in the recommended forums as well.
Thanks for your time and insight!!
Thank you Denzel,
That was very helpful! Great insight!
Perhaps, if necessary, the way around this would be not to use the tags, but to input the metadata in HTML.
