I am currently running a more customized theme for an automotive client, and while the site looks great, it seems I deal with two to four errors like this every month. Seriously frustrating.

What I have learned most recently is that sometimes it will let me login through a different extension and disable and/or remove the problem. In your case I would remove the WP and just use the /admin after the url.

If you can get in you can start disabling plugins one at a time and see which one is causing the problem.

Hope this helps as I know it is frustrating.

    Thank you both.

I did try Google’s public DNS which didn’t work, but since I was able to view this from my computer through HMA proxy I know it is a server issue. If I remember correctly when I used that service in the past there would not be that obnoxious banner. lol

I really appreciate everyone trying to help and will probably call my cable company tomorrow since they are my internet provider. But to invest the ten bucks OR use a free trial of a proxy service I should be able to get this site built at least.

Thanks again to all of you!!!

Thanks to both of you. So frustrating!!!

Sandy I have done a ping and that is the IP I get….thanks anyway. EVERYTHING shows that this install/hosting is perfectly fine!!! 🙁

Esmi, I have tried a different computer but not network since I am home and don’t want to go play in the Holiday traffic up here. I did try resetting the network again, unplugged the modem for like five minutes and restarted. Also tried a third browser (Firefox) with no luck. It is seriously as if my server is blocking access to this one site, and yet every test I ran in DOS says everything is fine. This will be a problem that I will never forget the solution to once I find it! 🙂

    Thanks 2niner.

I did see the whoishostingthis site information and seen that it is (as you mentioned) Cyrus One.

I was afraid this theme would be an issue as it is custom made. I attempted to get new URL (LaurieMcCainRealtyllc.com), hosted that and copied over every appearance file. Didn’t think it would be that easy, but was hopeful! Lol

I can copy the content for her and just make a new site as you mentioned, she just was just hoping to keep this exact template….and unless this lady plays well and gives up the Cpanel information, I just don’t see it happening myself.

The most important thing (as I told her) is that she have control of her site and files at all times. I feel bad that people sometimes have to learn the hard way, but never ever should someone handle your online business without even providing you (the owner) access to the login information.

    Thanks for your help!

Been working at this again today and wanted to update with some things I have already tried.

    1. Downloaded and re-installed search.php and index.php files from Adazing for the morning coffee theme to make sure there were no errors in coding.

    2. Deactivated every plugin one at a time and tested the search bar function in between to test plugin interference. No Luck (obviously)

Oh well, won’t sweat the small stuff! 🙂

If anyone has any ideas at all I welcome them!

    Thanks again

    I am using Chrome, Lol.

I had no idea it should look like that, I have an account at Whydowork.com where I submitted my RSS feed months ago. When I seen this mess (using Chrome) I went to check that and all it shows is my comments and pingbacks and not any new content I have been publishing.

Guess I just assumed it had to be screwed up. Does Google Chrome make it look all weird like that?

Thanks so much for your help!
