In reply to: [Theme: 2014] Can't add header logo to 2014Bump Any help? I have tried some Plugins to accomplish this with no results. Thanks, Jim

Bojan, I got it. I didn’t have the sidebar and header files in the child directory, Thanks, Jim
Hi Bojan, thanks for the help. For some reason, it didn’t work. This is the first change I have made to the style.css file in the child theme, so I’m not sure I am configured correctly, although the “child” theme comes up in my theme list and it is activated. I even tried octal as well as hex numbers.
I appreciate your greeting and cheery attitude. 🙂
Regards, Jim

In reply to: Theme 2014 Log in problemThanks Jan, that worked. I should have thought of that. I’m so used to going to the bottom of the page to get to the “Log in” link, I forgot the basics. It’s still not there but I can live with this method. Thanks again. okrobie

In reply to: Creating a copy of the main site for editing offlineOK, I think I know the answer to my last question.
On to the next. Now, pages that require database access are not finding it. Even though I have given the database a new name (domain_DBName) username and password, they are not appearing in the users (wp_jqkw1p_users) table. I tried to insert a new user in that table but it doesn’t seem to work. For one thing it is not encrypting the new password. I am able to logon using MyPHPAdmin but the page that uses the database cannot find it. I have tried to edit the DB access information but my new user can’t seem to get in. Anybody got an idea?

In reply to: Creating a copy of the main site for editing offlineI’ve been reading other threads and discovered how to edit the database in the wp-options table siteurl and home options and I have partial success, but now I find that the links in a page or post stay the same way they were written. Other than editing them by hand is there a more efficient way? Thanks.
The problem was a plugin by the name of WPTouch. My host provider was able to get in and disable it. Everything is fine now. Thanks
