ok guys… i think i figured out this problem for the most part.
all you have to do is include the actual word ‘category’ in the permalink either hard link it or whichever. so it should go:
/category/catname/postname or however.
then this will work: /category/catname/page/2
it solved my problems
im also having the same problem, and i cant find a solution to save my life.
