no. I just duplicated page.php file and uploaded in the Themes folder. You think the file is the matter?

solved it myself after reading other comments on the forum. I went to Settings, Reading, and I unchecked “Posts”.

yes, homepage is that page.

Posts means the possibility that someone is blogging (leaving messages on my website). I was to delete that part. I have no idea how. No idea how it appeared. I changed themes, still there.
