We have a new dev site here https://josefn2.sg-host.com/ and live site which are exact matches on two different hosts.
(On the dev — you have to log in to see it via the WP Admin. https://josefn2.sg-host.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fjosefn2.sg-host.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 The homepage is blank if not logged in, just FYI)
Maybe it has to do with that packet limitation on the live server as they indicated. Not really sure.
But in terms of speed. We tested the about page on dev vs about page on live
dev is 2.6 seconds vs live 15.2 seconds for 1st load.
total load dev 7.2s vs live 20.2s
Long story short: Same exact same wordpress install, version, same php version, same avada and plugins, neither cached. that live server or domain or that IP issue or something is drastically awful on live.
This is a bluehost issue or with that particular box / account.

I do have access to my CPanel but do not know where to start. I am worried about changing anything since we have had so many issues.

I do have the WP Optimize Plug in but again I am so nervous that I will make something worse. It wants to delete 7,900 previous reversion but I am not sure if that would have a large impact on performance as that is about all that I see that be optimized. Is that a lot. Is that an area to be concerned?

Should I install more plug ins when things are going so bad right now.

I do have a revolution slide and my home page and it looks like that plug in needs to be updated. Could this be an issues. Revolution Slider
