Thanks again. Like I’ve said before, my site (and the server and everything that implies) is totally accessible from any other machine in the world EXCEPT the one I was trying to back up WP to. It’s like something got glogged or shut off from letting me get to it from this particular machine.

nope, no crash. The site is totally accessable from any other machine out there (try it: http://www.projectbob.com) I was hoping someone knew if there was something in the system software that would react negatively to a sitiuation thereby shuting off access to the “offending” site? I don’t use firewall software so it’s not that.
