What you told me to do is the same thing blog in blog does (show a portion of the post and tells the reader to select more to read the rest. which is the problem, because you click more it shows the 404 error I was talking about. It still does not fix the the permanent link structure it is still showing the permanent links of the posts as http://www.xyz.com/http://www.xyz.com. That is my problem.

Okay so where do I add my posts? If I go to add new post it still does the same thing showing the double url I stated before?
