I’ve added the rules again and set the file to 444. Let’s see what happens next.
We have a multisite installation and when we re-add rewrite rules to htaccess, then set permalink rules from one of the subsites the rules are removed.
Sorry, haven’t had time to test this yet and had to resort to alternative means of getting the data to the developers. Will mark this as resolved for now, thanks.

In reply to: [Eazyest Gallery] Broken image linksI’ve restored a backup of the _cache folders and in my case that restored functionality. Strikes me as odd that they don’t repopulate themselves if found empty and world-writable. Bug, perhaps?
Adapted the situation, first test succeeded. Told the client to test as well. Will mark as resolved when their test is successful as well. Thanks so far.
