Do you mean that the other elements on the page are the issue (widgets, header image, etc)? Because I’m fine with altering those elements if it solves the current issue, but I did try adjusting them before and had no luck.
Also, the team page we’ve been looking at is the only one that has this issue, and as far as I can see all the settings are the same across all the team pages (though I could be mistaken).

I tried disabling all the plugins and it doesn’t seem to have made a difference.
As far as I know there’s no custom code, but I didn’t do the initial setup of the pages, nor do I know exactly where to check for custom code 🙂
FWIW, here is a screenshot of the team page:
and here’s one of the team gallery, which is the only content on the team page:
Also just for additional info: when I click on Preview Changes from the team gallery, the published page displays properly.

Not sure if it’s overkill, but here’s a screenshot of the entire player list page for our current season.
When the site was set up we basically built a whole “directory” of player lists, and since then we’ve made a new list every time a new season starts. Not sure if this is in keeping with the way SportsPress is meant to function, or if that might be what is causing the issue.
As for the player profiles, here are a couple of shots:
The first is for a player who has been with us for all three of our seasons, the second is for someone who joined in the middle of our current season.
