  • Loading fine in IE8 and FF4. Love your title, what a unique and cool idea for a site.

I’m agree with your wife–more pictures-LOL. Your work is too good not to showcase more of it. You site looks very nice. The dark background really works. The different headers was also a nice touch. Maybe add an ‘about’ page with info on how you got into art, contact info, etc. Of course, adding the contact info will probably flood you with projects 🙂
Best of luck on your projects.

I really like the look of your site. The background did not take very long to load for me. I found the only distractor to be the long stretch of black to the bottom of the home page. The vertical navigation was a nice change. Oh, I think it looks great without a header.

You’ve done a lot in a few days! Your site is very easy to navigate and I like the date tabs down the side. I would put some kind of picture on your ‘about’ page. Even if it’s not you, it gives people a visual to associate with you.
Best of luck and hope your step mom is doing better.

Wow, love the way the colors go together. Your site looks very nice. I would maybe move the links and the contact info into the sidebar near the top (this would also cut down the lenght a bit). I’d say you’re doing a good job, especially since reporters are requesting interviews:)

I like the clean, simple-looking design. It’s obvious it took a lot of work to get it that way. The only thing for me is the straight line next to the curvy line down the side. For some reason it is distracting to me. Maybe lighten the color of the straight line so it isn’t so bright. Great job, makes me wish I could read french.

Hi, I’m a novice, so please take my comments with a grain of salt. Since you are still in the creative stage, I’m sure some of my ideas are things you have already thought of.
    1. Maybe use columns. They always break the landscape up. The sidebars can give you room for recent post, twitter feeds, ways to donate, etc.
    2. Menu bar. It’s always nice to know how to get around 🙂
    3. Gallery page. It could have photos of the kids, events with the kids, etc. (I noticed you mentioned the pages weren’t showing up, so you may already have this.)
    4. Color. I would add a bit more. I think you could keep the logo header, but maybe if you add sidebars the widget titles could have a background color.
Oh, I think the pit bull would make a great mascot!
I think you’re off to a great start.

Thanks for such a quick reply. I feel a bit foolish because I didn’t even think to check in another browser. It works fine in Firefox. IE 8 was where I had the problem. This was the only widget I could not drag. I did try deactivating other widgets, but it still would not drag to the sidebar. Again, everything seems to work perfect in Firefox. Just another reason to stay away from Explorer-LOL. Thanks again for the help and a great plugin.

I was searching for the same answer! The WordPress Category Archive widget is behaving in the exact same manner you described, right down to highlighting the whole page. I was really anxious to try this plugin. Perhaps its a conflict between the plugin and the theme. I’m using wordpress 3.0.1, plugin version 1.3.0, and Atahualpa theme 3.6.4.

Perhaps someone else has had the same problem and found a solution or a workaround.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I come up with something, I’ll let you know. Thanks again for the great work. I’m going to mark this as resolved since it is not an issue with the workings of the plugin.
