I have now resolved this issue.
There was an unused plugin that had an error message which was causing the category to “break”.
Once I removed the plugin, the category was working again, but the posts were not displaying. To resolve this, I reset the permalinks and this resolved the issue.

Hi Lisa,
I’ve looked at the most common causes of category links “breaking” and this seems to be the most common solution.
