FTP would not allow me to delete then upload, so I tried overwriting… Site worked when I was done and I thought for sure the problem was fixed, but it wasn’t.
I’ll try through cPanel > File Manager next

Unfortunately after doing all of this I am still not able to uncheck that box and then save settings…
I have never had that box unchecked so I cannot verify if the latest wordpress update, or any of the previous updates triggered this issue…
