Hi @richtabor
Yes, your diagnosis is correct: I had no idea that JetPack can handle authentication, so I had JetPack enabled with all of its defaults. As I did not hear from you, I tried to use Memphis CL plugin, which does not exhibit the problem I asked you about. It ought to be that Memphis CL disables JetPack authentication “behind the scenes”, a feature that you might consider adding to your plugin 🙂
Thank you Rich for the reference to https://themeisle.com site. Nice gesture, that I do appreciate. 🙂

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Custom background image not workingI have the same issue in a hosted hosted installation, where I do not have access to WP files. I am using the Twenty Thirteen theme and would like to replace the default image with a .png file of my own, by clicking on the “Add new image” button.
This click results with the Choose Image pop-up where I can select the already uploaded image in my Media Library. When I select that image and click on the “Select and Crop” button (lower right corner) the image correctly renders in that pop-up window. However, the only way to dismiss this pop-up (close it) does not result with this image replacing my default image. It seems that the pop-up window should have a “Save” button??
