I had the same issue with a client. The problem was solved by disabling a cache setting which combined the js files. Hope this helps.Happy thanksgiving!

I found a solution!! I deactivated every plugin and revert the website to 2015 theme. Then dashboard — updates reinstalled the current version of wordpress.
It was successful!
If that doesn’t work, I found an article about exporting the XML file via myPHPadmin, this might be a good alternative

I notice I only get this error if the same IP address makes a rating on the same post. Any suggestions?
Is this related to the caching issue?

I guess unless I have a gazillion dollars you probably wont be rewriting this anytime soon. 🙁
