Twitter cards have nothing to do with our plugin.
So no matter what you put to the “Message format” filed it will NOT affect appearance or the content of the Twitter card.
Twitter adds/creates Twitter cards by itself using metatags as described here: https://dev.twitter.com/cards/types/summary-large-image.
Plugin can’t control them.

Please make sure user who authorizes the plugin is the admin of the page and owner of the Facebook app. Then please select that page from the dropdown list and save the settings.
What you are describing called Twitter cards. Twitter cards have nothing to do with our plugin. Twitter adds them by itself. Plugin can’t control them.

2. Version 4 is working fine for quite some time.
3. You can use%CF-CustomFieldName% – Inserts the contents of the custom field with the specified name. (example: if your price is stored in the custom field “PRDPRICE” you will need to use %CF-PRDPRICE% tag)

Facebook just recently made possible to post like this on facebook.com, but this ability is still not available through the API.
As soon as they add it to the API, we will add it to the plugin.
“Gutenberg page editor” – do you mean this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/gutenberg/?
Are you using anything else that could alter your text? We can’t recreate this issue either with default WP editor or with this Gutenberg plugin installed.
