I’m using soundcloud embed code and using %RAWTEXT% it works on tumblr, but that error keeps coming up
I rather not waste your time looking into it.
I went another route and I am doing like count instead of view count.
Do I need to add a shortcode or load scripts inside the single.php
I want to make it so the view is counted even if the post is clicked on after another one is clicked. I think it only counts when it is directly linked and taken to post right away. But many of my posts are music posts that are played one after another but people skip around
Yes this plugin does exactly what it supposed to do. What you are looking for requires another plugin.

The posts that are being tracked is the custom post type and I go to wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=blog for those

Not they display in admin colum but all have 0. My custom post type posts are fine. I did check post and blog custom post type, but main posts not getting counted.
