it is fine now after i found out i was clicking on “code” dialog instead of “source code” dialog.
however, both dialogs looks exactly the same which it was confusion.

i guess the best thing is to make it controlled from the “screen options” only this way we can move it where it suite us on the page.
have it in the “meta box” not practical at all

i activated
but i can not see it in the “add post” or “add page” in the backend.
the whole idea that i want to get rid off the wp default one

i am referring to the one in the “insert dropdown”.
what i am trying to do is get rid off the one above the editor and have “add media” in the toolbar instead.
buttons usually in toolbar more useful as they are visible.
i suggest to have “add media” button added to the already existing buttons in your plugin so we can just drag it to the toolbar.

this is not what i meant exactly.
the reason behind all this because some contents or some categories do not meet “google adsense” or something.
– the “Disable ads on this page” on edit or create post is perfect choice.
– the “Disable ads on this page” on edit or create page is perfect choice.
but when i create or edit category i did not see “Disable ads on this page”.
for example:i may not want to show any ads on the bellow category:
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/tagdiv-lifestyle/it may be some images against “google adsense” policy.
so the option “Disable ads on this page” on create or edit category is needed that is all.

unfortunately, i applied the setting / update / preview = can not see anything
only white empty popup.this is what i see in source code:
