Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Primary Menu won’t save in Generate Press Child ThemeThanks, Jan. I appreciate your gracious action there.
Update:
I was able to change the primary menu within Thrive Architect. I had completely forgotten that I had set up my header and footer menus withing Thrive Architect theme builder’s menu features.
BUT, now:
I’ve discovered a new weird issue on my main domain site https://natureglosescience.com. I also have a subdomain where all of my LifterLMS courses are held. This issue is NOT affecting my subdomain. This issue is JUST found at natureglosescience.com. That may be a clue.
Here’s the issue:
1. There is now a clickable list to ALL of my WordPress pages is found at the top of my Reviews and Blog post pages. So, when people go to those pages (see my Blog example here): https://natureglosescience.com/nes-blog/ They see this huge annoying clickable list of my WordPress pages, many pages I DO NOT WANT folks to see. I should probably make them private?
2. In order for people to see my blog posts (or my Reviews here: https://natureglosescience.com/nes-online-course-reviews/) They have to scroll down beneath the annoying big list of all of my other pages to see my blog posts or reviews! I don’t know how this could have happened.
3. I don’t know how to get rid of it.
4. Also, when I now create a new page, the annoying list appears at the top of the page with no way for me to delete it, that I can find.BUT, when I copy a landing page built within Thrive Architect the annoying list DOES NOT appear at the tops of those. Another clue?
I’m considering purchasing the new Thrive Themes Shapeshift theme builder and replacing my Generate Press child theme.
5. Do you think the ShapeShifter theme coulddl solve this weird issue for me? I’m thinking it MIGHT be a theme issue. I’m using a Generate Press child’s theme on both the main and subdomain sites. Since I use so many of Thrive’s plugins, I’m wondering if it might make better sense to deactivate my child Generate Press theme I have on both my main domain and subdomain and replace it with Thrive Theme’s new theme, Shapeshifter.
7. Can you help me figure out how to get rid of this annoying list/menu of all my pages and will Shapeshifter help me alleviate it?
Thank you for taking a look.

In reply to: [Loco Translate] Restoring deleted word in Loco TranslateThank you for asking. I thought I had deleted the words, “Member Pricing”, but, it appears instead that I had replaced Membership (slug) and I THINK I’m not supposed to do that. Anyhoo, I erased the translation and all is working as it should. The issue is now resolved.
I fixed it! I fixed it! Within Loco Translate, I simply removed the replacement word, Class Bundle from the Membership (slug). So, I GUESS that I shouldn’t replace words that are slugs?

Hello, again. I think I just flubbed and accidentally deleted the words Member Pricing within the Loco Translate plugin. Now, I”m noticing that certain “class bundles” (the phrase I’m trying to replace the word “membership” with), won’t open. Here’s an example of one of the class bundle view links that times out and won’t open: https://natureglosescience.com/ClassBundle/class-bundle-mathematics-arts-sciences-mathart-patterns-nature-two-6-week-classes/
Here’s another older bundle I created that no longer can open: https://natureglosescience.com/ClassBundle/natureglos-eworkshop-1-year-class-bundle/
BUT, this bundle does open when I click on it within my catalog here: https://natureglosescience.com/membership/natureglos-marine-biology-courses-1-year-membership/ BUT NOT when I click on view from within the dashboard: https://natureglosescience.com/ClassBundle/natureglos-marine-biology-courses-1-year-membership/
I do see that the link says membership for the link that works, but, ClassBundle links won’t work. Hmmm. Change out the word ClassBundle for membership to get by? I don’t know. I”m so confused as to what’s happening. But, I am pretty sure that the issue is becuase I deleted one of LifterLMS’s words, I believe Member Pricing. I tried unsuccessfully to remove that word from the enrollment button area. It’s still says Member Pricing in bright pink. LOL.
I was being too lackadaisical using Loco Translate the other day and should have rewatched the how to video before I messed around in the plugin, but, too late, the damage is done and I have no idea how to replace the phrase, “Member Pricing” within Loco Translate. Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated before I reach out and have to pay for support, which I still can’t really afford right now. I’ve been on Loco Translate’s forum about it too.
Thank you!

Thank you for that. I’ve just activated and started using the plugin. It’s AWESOME! Thank you for answering this, Thomas!
