Not a dumb question. Seems something has gone awry with wp-classifieds with the latest version of wordpress.
Do this as a workaround:
Create a new page, with the title “WP_CLASSIFIED” (without the quotes).
In the content of this page, write “WP_CLASSIFIED“.
That should get you up and running. You’ll also need to modify the “pagename” for this entry to be “classified” – best way to do it is through SQL.
