I finally solved my problem by going into the host and having them upgrade the website through their system. The website is now working great. I highly recommend this option if there are problems.
I am having the same issues with one of my websites and need some help. I manually updated the website to 3.1. I have deactivated all of the plugins. I have renamed the plugin file to plugin1. I have tried to go in and re-install 3.1 and am coming up with the same Internal error messages below.
This website is extremely slow since the upgrade and I cannot get it working correctly. I am also trying to find .maintenance to delete it and get the update failed message off the dashboard.
