If I delete the htaccess/htpasswd authentification, can ninjafirewall take over with an intelligent password protection? (I would have to configure it of course)

Thanks for your reply! You are right, this makes absolute sense.
The URL is https://pericosa.de/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword.

If this URL is not whitelisted, how can I fix that?
