In reply to: [Social Media Auto Poster - Schedule & Publish to Buffer] Preview ImageHi Douglas,
I believe Buffer will determine a preview image if not specified by this plugin.
The next update will, by default, use the Featured Image for a given Page, Post or Custom Post Type as the image for that update.
Thanks,
Tim.
The plugin will generate one buffer post for each WordPress post, page or custom post type when you publish or edit, based on the settings you’ve defined.
It doesn’t “generate one buffer post for every single post published on FB”, as you state – and it does not advertise doing this.
Fixed in Version 1.02
Hello,
I’ve just release version 1.42 of the plugin, which fixes this issue.
Once installed, you’ll need to go to the plugin settings page and re-tick the option ‘Enable on Pages’.
Thanks,
Tim.

It’s nothing you’ve missed – I’ve had another report where it doesn’t always work for scheduled posts, so I’ll take a look into this and let you know.

In reply to: [Like Lock] [Plugin: Like Lock] BugHi Tom,
Apologies for the delay – I don’t have your email address as it’s been redacted in your thread.
Facebook have resolved the bug with registering likes, and I’ve just pushed verison 1.02 to wordpress.org to reflect this.
Let me know if you have any problems.
Thanks,
Tim.
Forum: Meetups
In reply to: Meetup in Birmingham, UK?There’s already an active group for Birmingham UK WordPress users, which have monthly meetups:
http://www.wpbham.co.uk
http://lanyrd.com/profile/wpbhamuk/future/Correct – the plugin doesn’t set an object key for the post called post_toc, and doesn’t advertise such.
Please follow the instructions in the readme file, specifically step 4 when editing a Page, Post or Custom Post Type from within the WordPress Administration:
– Insert the shortcode [TOC], or click the Insert Table of Contents button in the TinyMCE editor to add a table of contents to your content. You will then see the table of contents.
1. Custom Post Types are available in the Pro version
2. Rating field can be made required in the Pro version
3. Ratings only show on selected Post Categories when defined, fixed in 1.4Hi Marco,
Options have been added to 1.4 to allow the rating field to be defined.
All strings within the Administration Panels have been set for localisation, although no translations are provided as yet.
Hope that helps.
Tim.
Hi Marco,
If you’d like this to be included in the plugin, send through the changes you’ve made and I’ll merge these into the next release.
Thanks,
Tim.
Kate,
Without you providing the actual URL of your site and the version of the plugin you’re running, it’s really difficult to even begin to try and advise what the issue might be.
Tim.
