In reply to: Free CDN breaks siteI hoped they would follow posts here that are tagged with tehir plugin. But I’ll try on their website too.
Thanks,

In reply to: Free CDN breaks siteYes, I did deactivate, and after that everything works fine. But I would like to use it, so I wonder if there is something I can do to get it working. Sorry for not having been clearer about that.
Thanks,

In reply to: YARPP breaks certain admin screens@mitchoyoshitaka I found the problem! As you correctly surmised, it was a plugin incompatibility (with the Share and Follow plugin). In fact YARPP was not the only plugin having the problem. The (very responsive) developer of S&F has released a new version that resolved the issue. Thanks for your help!

In reply to: YARPP breaks certain admin screensYes, it’s v. 3.1.8. of YARPP. PHP v. 5.2.11.

In reply to: YARPP breaks certain admin screensBecause I couldn’t get things to work well I deleted YARPP from my blog. I now reinstalled it, but instead of the error message I mentioned earlier, I now get a 500 (internal server) error. Things work well after deactivating YARPP, so it is definitely related to the plugin.
Thanks,

In reply to: YARPP breaks certain admin screensThanks! When you write “Can you try to “view source” on that page from your browser?”, what exactly do you mean by “that page”? The edit post page, the error page, or the resulting post itself?

In reply to: Brackets in markups stripped when using external writerThanks, esmi, but that did not solve the problem.
I have been able to trace it back to an old version of PHP and libxml2 used by my hosting provider. For more info: http://josephscott.org/archives/2009/03/conclusion-of-libxml2-issues-use-php-529-libxml2-273/
Thanks for the input!

In reply to: Login problems with external blogging softwareFurther to this: I now have found out that this behaviour seems to have something to do with password strength. If I use a simple password there is no problem, but if I use a ‘strong’ password (eight characters, mix of lowercase, uppercase, numbers, and special characters) I cannot use an external writer t log in.
Obviously, I would prefer to be able to use a strong password. Is this in any way possible?
Thanks,
Michael
