I was also in the shadow, actually xml links are not available because they are not the things for googlers to show. Those .xml links are for list of links to be indexed in it.
So xml links are not available for index, but links in it will be index-able.
Tell me what you decided and thought.

Let’s take a look.Perhaps it will help you to resolve your issue,
I have just deleted some of lines from yoast plugins file/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/sitemaps/class-sitemaps.php
I have removed 2 Lines from this file where ‘X-Robots-Tag’ found.
And Now sitemaps are being indexed… 🙂
