Is an ePub file an executable file?
If I enable ePub uploads using one of these plugins, then also add Wordfence and check that setting?
I am hoping to get more understanding of this issue with further replies from folks here.

Try going to SETTINGS > MEDIA and see what settings you have for Thumbnail, Medium, and Large – in pixels.
If this doesn’t shed any light, please add a link to your website. We can make more informed response by looking at your code. 🙂

It looks like this ‘page’ has been created as a POST. You can go into Quick Edit of this POST and uncheck allow comments.
