Hi,
I fixed it using your stack size suggestion in another thread.
Thanks,
Hi Wfasa,
So far so good. I made this change on my dev server and re-installed the plugin on one site. So far so good, its still up!
To note, I’m also Windows.
Will update later.
Developers… care to comment?
Is your plugin only working with certain versions of PHP?
Thanks,
Starting to look PHP(5ts) related…

Hi,
Yes, I’m on Windows (yawn), however there is nothing in the event logs to show any issues related to this.
Having completely removed Wordfence including left over tables, I’ve reinstalled Wordfence and when activating, the issue kicks in and the plugin doesn’t actually activate. There is nothing logged.. anywhere.
Thanks,
Will do…
Same here. I haven’t been able to use Wordfence on any of my 12 sites for he last 12 months, even internal development sites.
For some reason if Wordfence is activated, each site will not load.
As soon as I deactivate it, the site works.Very disappointing as its the best out there.
Developers… care to comment?
Same here although mine started last week. Each day, a different site has stopped working, just presents a blank page.
Upon renaming the plugin folder (wordfence.old), the site starts working again. Renaming the plugin folder back to ‘wordfence’ causes the site to stop again.Even tried uninstalling, removing all traces of Wordfence and reinstalling – still the same issue.
Its bizarre!
Hi,
I too am having this problem, however the connectivity test passed without any problems. (This is behind a corporate firewall)
But the scan results are showing “[Jan 11 16:41:32] Call to Wordfence API to resolve IPs failed: There was an error connecting to the the Wordfence scanning servers: Received HTTP code 400 from proxy after CONNECT”Any ideas?
Thanks,
CraigGreat.. this worked.
I am now getting multiple errors in the PHP log about ‘Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in a plugin.
I have increased the max execution timeout to 60 seconds but still gives an error. How is this going to affect the scan? Also, how long does it require?
Thanks,
