In reply to: My username and email address are no longer recognizedI think I got directed back to WordPress because whoever I talked to with technical support didn’t know anything about WordPress, I’m not sure. It’s just been one big headache this weekend, thankfully the assignment got extended by one day so I’m hoping I can get it figured out today. I think you may be on to something with contacting the person that set the site up originally. I’m going to look back and see if I can find the instructor that I had when we accessed the site, if he isn’t the one with the access maybe he’ll know who does or who to contact. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that but it’s genius, thank you so much! I’ll let you know if I figure something out.

In reply to: My username and email address are no longer recognizedIt’s actually the opposite, which is another reason I’m so confused. The original URL was mnstpierre and I tried to switch it to mnistpierre. I don’t understand why there is something showing on the original site but there is nothing showing on the URL that it was switched to, maybe I don’t understand this stuff well enough but I thought that since everything is messed up now that it would be because the new URL is trying to be implemented. If that makes any sense at all, I know what I’m trying to say but I don’t think it’s coming out right.
I tried all of the links that you provided above and they didn’t work. I tried all of them with the i and without the i, so every combination I could think of. I looked through the codex link you provided and I tried every option that I could from the page and I either don’t have the access to do what they say or I need the email/username and all of them come back as not recognized or not found. I actually tried some of them yesterday and didn’t have any luck then. I don’t even know who I would go to to get the access to try and make these changes, I talked to the technical support at my school and they said they have no access to it either and that WordPress would be the ones that would have to change it. But WordPress told me before that they couldn’t do it, my school would have to . So basically I just keep getting the run around and it seems like there is apparently no one that has access to my schools sites.
