Is there a way to stop these plugins from using it? I just logged into my ftp today and saw that all the cache folders were deleted. Is this normal? Usually when I call flush all from the menu (purge all caches), it just sets them to _old.

That just goes back to what I original had.
Thanks for the information. It seems I just need to disable browser cache for it to work or use AJAX to get the quantity.

I think I found the solution – Disable browser cache.
This makes it so that if an item stock is changed, the shop page’s cache will change to _old, then it will load slow the first visit (re-cache) no matter how they get to the page (e.g. nav menu, back button), then it will load fast after that.
Is this a good idea? Enabling the browser cache doesn’t make any different in speed on my computer.
The IDEAL is to have browser cache enabled, but NOT cache the shop page in the browser, but I don’t see an option for this?
