I can insert the
tag (or hit return twice) and the extra space appears. However, as soon as I save the page, the tags are stripped out and the layout goes back to what it was previously.Thanks,

Anyway, it might help to have a look at the site. You can see it at ClickforChips.com
Ideally it would be nice to have the “Home”, “Link” and “Contact” options linking to static pages. I’ve got a grip on how I’d do that.
It gets a little bit trickier when I’d like to have the “News” and “Site Update” links as effectively two different blogs: so posts that I could write and then place in either of the two catogries so that they’d show up in chronoligical order in the relevant section.
I don’t know if that’s possible though – I may well be trying to make my blog too much like a website. After all, I’ve got a feeling what I’ve described above is what the “cateogry” option is for …
