In reply to: [Atomic Blocks - Gutenberg Blocks Collection] Migration problemThank you, @christopherplus. That’s helpful. We’re looking into a fix for this.
Thanks for asking, @and_or.
We’ll monitor the install count of Atomic Blocks, but we haven’t set a deadline for migration at the moment.
New features and improvements will be added to Genesis Blocks instead of Atomic Blocks, though, so it’s worth making plans to migrate to benefit from those.
Thank you, Jack, that’s helpful. I’ll follow up with an update once a fix is available.
Thank you for the report, @moxie, and I’m sorry for the error you encountered.
Are you able to share the fatal error from your PHP logs, please?

In reply to: [Genesis Blocks] Genesis Blocks Not working With Navigation ProThanks for the report, @domaingood.
Genesis Blocks uses different CSS classes to Atomic Blocks. We are working on:
- Updates to Navigation Pro and other themes with the new Genesis Blocks CSS. This will help new WordPress sites using Navigation to work with Genesis Blocks out of the box.
- A migration wizard for Atomic Blocks to Genesis Blocks. This will help site owners with existing Atomic Blocks content to migrate to Genesis Blocks.
For now it’s fine to continue using Atomic Blocks with Navigation.

In reply to: [Genesis Blocks] Genesis Blocks Post GridHi, @outcats85.
Genesis Blocks uses different CSS classes to Atomic Blocks. We are working on:
- Updates to Essence Pro and other themes with the new Genesis Blocks CSS. This will help new WordPress sites using Essence to work with Genesis Blocks out of the box.
- A migration wizard for Atomic Blocks to Genesis Blocks. This will help site owners with existing Atomic Blocks content to migrate to Genesis Blocks.
For now you could continue using Atomic Blocks with Essence.
Thank you for this report, @mdtauhid001.
This issue is fixed in Genesis Blocks (a new and rebranded version of Atomic Blocks by the same team):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-blocks/
If you are working on a new site without existing Atomic Blocks content, you could uninstall Atomic Blocks and install Genesis Blocks instead.
If you are working on a site with existing Atomic Blocks content, we plan to offer a migration path from Genesis Blocks.
I have also filed an issue for this bug in our Atomic Blocks GitHub so that we can look into fixing it in Atomic Blocks in a future update.

In reply to: [Genesis Blocks] Not working on localhostThanks for your report, @sauerland.
I can’t reproduce this with WP 5.5 locally so far.
Do you see any errors in your browser console?
Or anything in your PHP error logs?
Atomic Blocks source code is available on GitHub at https://github.com/studiopress/atomic-blocks.
This relates to a bug in WordPress 5.5 and should be fixed in an upcoming WordPress update.
It looks like this will be fixed in an upcoming WordPress update:
