Sticky: Stay at the top for the day
That seems completely backwards to me. A sticky post should be sticky, dang it! An announcement should be the short term since that’s all it is… an announcement.

In reply to: Error when adding post to categoryBy the way, the Category Overload plugin can be found here.

In reply to: Sticky post doesn’t remain at the topI’m not sure it’s a pluggin issue. One would imagine if it was, it would be a consistent problem once the pluggin as activated. It’s not a consistent problem (for me). You might try replicating my setup to experience the problem for yourself. You would know better than I would what’s going on with it.

In reply to: Sticky post doesn’t remain at the topNeither… the issue is there, but it is sporadic. It happens sometimes, then sometimes it doesn’t (such as this morning).

In reply to: Sticky post doesn’t remain at the topOk I wrote a new post this morning. It was the first thing I did when I opened my browser (FF 2.0.0.6). My browser is configured to clear all cookies/cache upon exit btw. After I clicked publish, there it was… right on the top again.
I’ve been copying, deleting, and re-creating the sticky after each new post to keep it on the top as a work-around.
I’m using the following plugins:
WP-Sticky
WP-Print
WP-Email
WP-Cache
Google Sitemaps
Audio Player
Anarchy Media Player
Ajax Referer FixRight after the post, I wrote another one that included a video, and it was posted underneath the sticky post as it should be.

In reply to: Sticky post doesn’t remain at the topI deactivated all plugins except sticky and posted a test msg, all is well. I then activated all of them one by one, all is still well with all of them activated. *shrug* I’m not sure WTF happened…

In reply to: Error when adding post to categoryI’m getting the same problem. I’m using WP 2.2.2. I deactivated all the plugins, and the error went away but I’m now getting the “you don’t have permission to do this” error when I try to change the post category. I think it’s the Ajax Referer Fix plugin that is causing the problem. When I enable just that plugin, the “Something strange happened” error comes back. Without that Ajax referer fix the admin panel is almost useless… so I guess I’ll stick to just one category for now. I’m also using the Pure theme if that matters..
