It´s very easy: Instead of the messy code I added, just add <?php comments_template(); ?> in the page.php where you want the comments to appear.
you should give out some more information. Which Theme are you using? Mabye the adress to your blog. And you could show us your comments.php.
perhabs you should post your Page Template her. Mayber there´s something going wrong.
Just type something like this in your browser:

just change yourblog.com to your blog adress!
