Yes, you are right indeed, BUT once Wordfence locks you out, then when you get back in your wordpress site (via renaming the file in your control panel to deactivate it so you can get back in your WP admin) and try to make a change in Wordfence by inserting your IP address and hit “save changes” – it won’t let you do it!!! It won’t save the new changes, so I am still locked out once I try and get back in the next time. It must be a built in protection device which Wordfence coded in.
I know what the reason is. I’ve set up in Options how many times users input a password where it’s wrong and they get locked out. I was doing this and I forgot my password and it locked me out. How do I set in Wordfence not to lock me out – maybe by letting it know that my IP is OK.

Is there anyway to just show short descriptions of each post on the blog page for the twenty fifteen theme rather then the whole post? Or even for the categories too?
All my websites generate a blank page with this plugin. But when I view the source code it’s there. This is odd because I never really took a look at the sitemap page before until recently. When I use another site map page generator it works fine.
Any ideas what may be causing this?

why do I have the 8 inch by 2 inch box with some artsy image between the header and the title on my home page only? How do I get rid of it? It just showed up when I did the last upgrade on your theme. Go to http://www.mesotheliomablog.us/ and see for your self.

In reply to: sidebarThis is a nice theme but it should have options to change the color and pagebar options too! Not being able to change the color of this theme make it really obsolete out of the gate when almost every theme out today has that option….but it is a nice clean theme!

I’m used to the All in one SEO plugin for WP on all my sites. I installed your SEO plugin and am trying to get used to it. There are a lot of features and am a little confused on what to set all the settings at. The All in one SEO plugin seemed ready to go out of the box and I would just enter the title – description – and keywords in the main settings page. My questions are:
1) Where is the area to insert my “homepage keywords” in your Yoast SEO plugin? (I see where I can do it when constructing a post).
2) I can see in the area when I’m writing a post where I can put in the title/description and “FOCUS KEYWORD” (singular). This confuses me because I thought one was supposed to enter 4 – 5 keywords and you have just one. Is this because you can enter them in the “POST TAGS” box? In the All in One SEO plugin the “Use Tags for META keywords” box can be checked so I assumed my keywords in a post were my TAGS. My understanding was the All in One SEO plugin would use my entered TAGS as the keywords for the particular post.
If you clarify this I have to believe that many others will start using this plugin because I love the way it tells you if your properly SEOing every post you create in the “add post” area and I would like to start using it on my future websites. In fact I would love to see you write a short article on Setting up the YOAST SEO WP Plugin for Beginners. In the article just explain the least you have to do to get the plugin set for the search engines and no more – because the rest we will learn along the way once it’s set up properly and we use it daily. Right now I just want piece of mind knowing that this plugin is set up properly where it works right out of the box with minor input on my part. I know you have detailed explanations on everything (YOAST SEO PLUGIN) but a lot of this I just don’t understand right now – but I will once I start using it. Just tell me the least I should do to get it running in the right direction….ABC – done!

In reply to: Platform Theme Framework FeedbackIf you are using the 3 column layout on the PageLines theme then you can’t use the ‘TAGS CLOUD’ WIDGET IN THE SIDEBAR (right only, the left one you can) Why is this??? What happens is your tags show up below your post spread across your page.

I got the same issue with this theme too. If you use a sidebar ‘CLOUD TAG’ widget then it will cause the problem. I guess you can’t use the TAGS widget with this theme for the sidebar. They haven’t answered you I see on this issue so they haven’t been able to figure out how to correct the problem. I went to visit your site and noticed you have no sidebar TAGS widget which I assume you you can’t put in due to the themes problem. I really can’t understand how theme developers can’t seem to fix the small issues when there is so many WP free themes which run perfectly with no problems whatsoever. his theme has an upgrade but what are you upgrading too…more issues which they can’t answer!

You can just keep the header that comes with it but how am I going to use this theme if my site is about cars and there are flowers in my header. I know there are ways to insert a new image but for most of us this is difficult to do. Most other themes have a way to change the header in one second by checking the box. This theme has all these great features but this one which is the most important on a theme header it does not have…most others do.

you hit it on the head on your comment. It amazes me how much you see this today on the web. This theme is flawed because when you create a page it doesn’t show the page title on the page. This is elementary theme developement and if you go for the Pro version you will most likely get more of the same of these elementary theme product issues.
I also discovered another issue with this Whitehouse Theme. The tag cloud widget does not seem to work too well. The tages (if you have a lot of them) will overflow into the footer area. Again, elementary issues which the developer can’t seem to straighten out, even with his recent upgrade. Maybe that’s why this theme is called the ‘White House’ theme because things don’t seem to be working too well just like in Washington.
