I gave the explanation above to why this is happening and why this issue cant/wont be fixed.
but because wp support forum is poorly done, I have to use “Resolved” tag for almost everything.. for this one it’s:

things arent settled down yet with 2.0 and I won’t recommend to use any of the existen hooks or to hack into the code.. however, with the next release there will be more room for this and Ill publish a final list of available hooks and actions.
I guess I’ll give it a try.

Just to mention, @tux Kapono, this is not about potential users or any of that s.. In fact numbers are really irrelevant.

anyway, reinstall wsl and that should fix it. if it doesn’t, try to create a new linkedin app and set the new credentials in wsl.
this could happen due to compatibility issues in particular when updating from old versions.
to fix this, goto WP Social Login > Widget, and reset your settings. let me know if it doesn’t works for you.

In reply to: [WordPress Social Login] Hook/Filter after user is createdas far as i know the “user_status”, may he rest in peace, cannot be set in wp_insert_user and therefore not by the wsl hook
however, and to solve this kind of issue, i will add another hook to trigger right after a user created
both..
and i have no plan for that at the moment but if i get enough requests i might consider making wsl fully compatible w/ bp.
1. one step at a time (and I got so little of it), this is merely an opening to new possibilities
