In reply to: [Panorama] [Theme: Panorama] Remove Log In to replyI have figured out how to do it, in Discussions I turned off nested comments. This removes the reply to box that sits in every comment. It is now a neat orderly structure 😉

In reply to: [Panorama] [Theme: Panorama] Remove Log In to replySorry I meant a little grey box saying REPLY in each comment posted, not in each post :-/

In reply to: [Panorama] [Theme: Panorama] Remove Log In to replyHi esmi, thanks for that, I did what you said and the LOG In To REPLY has gone. But it has now changed to REPLY. So there is still a grey box in each post, but it looks a little messy when there are a few comments. Each box that says reply.
I will have another look at the file, I may be able to edit it out 🙂

In reply to: WordPress Back End Confusing for usersThanks for the reply, I am testing hide dashboard plugin now. Seems like a step in the right direction. I am just going to try and tweak it a little. I want a more prominent home link on the page, as some of my blog readers are very dozy.
All of us users know to click the site name, in top left hand corner. But some users wont have a clue where to click next, when they see the profile page lol
Cheers working on it

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.2.1 is crippling blogs!@debfg48 I was able to do a roll back of an earlier version, as I had saved a copy of version 3.1.4 and also done a back up.

In reply to: Upgrade to 3.2.1 is crippling blogs!Well everything I was using up until 3.1.4. was running just great. But then came 3.2 aghhh problems all round, then Update to 3.2.1 what a mess of the admin panel. Looks really ugly and messy. I have now rolled back to 3.1.4 now admin panel and everything else looks and runs nice and smooth…

In reply to: Just Upgraded to 3.2 Now Missing ButtonsYipeee I have got my buttons back in the edit post section, and everything seems to be running ok again. WOW I was really worried I was going to have to delete the whole database and start all over again.
So how did I do it ? I simply re-installed the version before 3.2
Ok I know you need to upgrade to keep things as safe and secure as possible. But I just could not get 3.2 to work !
I am going to run another install on another database folder, and from now on I will just do a test upgrade first. If it runs ok for me, then I will upgrade my live site.

In reply to: Just Upgraded to 3.2 Now Missing Buttons@ Tjhief I have done a quick test post, and png images do show in the post. Are the buttons in your edit post just grey boxes? Well I am still searching through my wordpress pages, still not found the problem !
It is a real pain when you upgrade to keep things running smoothly, only to find something has messed up when you do !
Aghhh I regret clicking update now !!

In reply to: Just Upgraded to 3.2 Now Missing ButtonsHave just uploaded fresh files and folders, but not solved the problem. I will go over everything again and see if I can spot the problem. Failing that I will either revert back to an earlier version, or just learn to live with it.
Who knows maybe with the next update install, things will be as they were in the admin panel..
