Hi,
here’s the message I received from Smash Balloon, maybe it helps:
“When I take a look at the javascript console for your page it is showing an error (https://snag.gy/foU1jO.jpg). Since our plugin relies heavily on javascript to work, any error can cause the feed to stop loading. The error is most likely coming from a plugin or your theme. You can figure out which one might be causing the problem by deactivating your plugins and seeing if the feed starts working or switching to a default theme (like twenty fifteen) temporarily to see if that fixes the problem.
Once you figure out which plugin/theme is causing the problem you could try contacting the author to see if they have a fix for you”.
I then deactivated my plugins one by one, and found out that it’s yours that causes my instagram feed to break. So what can we do about this?
Cheers,

In reply to: [Sydney] Large white space underneath header imageThanks a lot, that worked. I think it would make sense implementing this as a standard setting in the theme, as nobody really needs that much white space between the header and the content π
Hi,
I also talked to the other developer, but they say the issue is not on their side and I tend to believe them, knowing that more than 200,000 users have downloaded their plugin and don’t seem to have an issue.
There is no support thread opened on this topic as I contacted them directly by email. If you let me know how I can make that message available to you without showing my email in the public, I’m happy to forward it.
Cheers,
MichaelaHi Natalie,
Thanks a lot for the info. Too bad this is only a feature of the pro version, as it’s really not a huge improvement, just a little style thing.
Will look out for the viewable, clickable areas feature, and in the meantime I’ll use an image editing program as you suggested.
CheersHi Robert,
Thanks a lot for the hint.
It’s not a big thing, but it would make working with your plugin easier if you could make sure that names are synchronized. E.g., “MapBox” in the “Available basemaps in controlbox” back-end is called “Blue Marble Topography” in the layer settings and on the front-end. Maybe in your next update π
Cheers,
MichaelaDone.
Hi Uriahs,
Great, those instructions worked. I wasn’t able to do what is shown at 1:20 min (Choose a platform) but I somehow found a workaround to choose a platform somewhere else in the menu and then I was able to continue.
Cheers,
MichaelaThanks a lot Robert. I followed your process description and it worked out fine. All my maps are working again.
Maybe next time some major change like this happens you could send a notification to user in the WordPress backend πForum: Plugins
In reply to: [jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget] Integration with other pluginThanks a lot for your quick and helpful reply, Baden!
I installed the mentioned EZP Coming Soon Page and it works great. Emails won’t be added directly to Mailchimp, but there is a simple export function with which I can load all new subscribers into my Mailchimp list whenever I want.
Cheers,
MichaelaIt’s one of those weird things. I tried to fix it a couple of times over the last few weeks, nothing worked. Now that I opened a ticket, it suddenly works like nothing has happened. So weird. But doesn’t matter. It works again!
Hi,
sorry, it’s been a while since I was burried in other work (and probably somehow hoping this issue would fix itself).
In the past, I turned on “Disable config caching”. Didn’t help.
I don’t have a large number of blocked IPs, or advanced blocking rules in Wordfence.
Today, I tried to temporarily switched the Firewall status to “disabled”. Didn’t make a difference.
I’m really at my wit’s end. I think I’ll just blame it on GoDaddy’s server speed and look for a new host next time. There are too many issues with them.
Or does anybody have another idea?
Cheers,

In reply to: [Arcade Basic] Remove sidebarI gave up on this theme. Support is non-existent and the theme badly designed. I suggest you look for a new one. My favorite ones are from “Catch Themes”. Great support, and many theme options. Good luck!
Hi Robert,
Apologies, maybe I didn’t describe it properly. I have already uploaded all the icons I want to use 2 years ago. They are numbers from 1-99. Now I wanted to change a 1 into a 6 and it didn’t accept the change. Every time I clicked on save, it went back to 1. I guess there is a bug somewhere. I worked around it by deleting the marker and creating a new one.
Cheers,
MichaelaStill unsolved… Anybody out there who can help?
Hi,
I just turned on the “Disable config caching” as @wfmattr suggested, but it made no difference. WF is still taking 25 % of the load time, more than Jetpack with its 21%. Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Michaela
