Thank you for your reply!! Yes, I’ve read the “Moving WordPress « WordPress Codex”… but now that I’ve already moved the site what should I do? In Settings, on the backend, the url is correct also… so why I can’t delete that folder, as it were still linked to the site?

Comunque ho notato che il plugin non viene aggiornato da diversi mesi e quindi l’ho già eliminato senza approfondire il motivo dell’errore.

Ok I solved the issue. I had to set the url, under “general settings”, without www.
