    My friend,

I am not an expert but I can give u some suggestions.

1 – Make sure php works fine on ur host by creating a simple php file and running it Try :-
    <?php
    echo ‘Hello World!’;
    ?>

2 – Make sure all files are copied to ur host (try FTPing files again)

3 – Try disabling plug-ins (they say to rename those folders to make sure)

I know this is a very tedious process because I went through this…

But my friends just don’t give up, because.

When you see the previous entries from people like you go to their web sites and you will see their sites work now that means they have found the solution, so don’t give up your solution will come to you just like the solution for me came after a very stressful time…

    Good luck.. 😀

    Regards,

    Gunterblum,

    It WORKED !!!!!!!!!!

    I don’t know how to thank you…

I tried millions of things to take my blog up and running.

Who would think it was this “./” 😀

I really don’t know how many other places would cause this problem…!

Thanks again… You saved a lot of my time…

    Hi,

    I have the same problem.

I also tried to set up with the provided tool but it asks me to choose a sub directory for the blog. I want to locate my blog simply by the domain name without any directories i.e. :

I want my url to be : http://www.mydomain.com
but if I use the tool it does not allow me to install directly into wwwroot it asks me to select a sub directory to install which then make the url like : http://www.mydomain.com/blog

It seems like you have managed to setup ur blog to access through the url (which I need).

I am new to website hosting so can you please tell me how u managed to do this!

    Thanks
    Menol

    Hi Everyone,

I am working on to start my own blog at http://www.ilearnttoday.com

    My host is DOTSTER

    My wp-admin section works fine.

But the blog (www.ilearnttoday.com) shows a blank page.

This is NOT an update of an existing blog. This is a NEW Installation.

I have ALREADY tried following and NOTHING WORKED so far 🙁

Installed wordpress latest version SEVERAL TIMES.
Installed wordpress old version (thinking the host doesn’t support new wordpress version)
Renamed Pluggins directory to make it invisible to wordpress
    Changed the theme to Classic

If this helps, I chose IIS server and I install my blog on the wwwroot itself (NOT inside a directory)

I am desperate to get my blog up and running. Please Please Please help me!

Really looking forward for your help…
