Hi @divvy,
Thanks for reaching out. Upon replicating the issue, it seems that hiding widgets on mobile is working just fine on my end. May we know what widget or widget type you were using? And also what theme you are using on your website? You may also provide some screenshots of your settings.
It is also possible that it might be a cache issue. We suggest clearing your website’s and browser’s cache and let us know how it goes. Thanks and I am waiting for your response.

In reply to: [MH MusicMag] -uncentered post titles-Hi @sacdawg,
Thanks for reaching out. You may use this CSS code to center every post title on your website.
.single-post .entry-title {text-align: center;}I’d like to remind you that the MH MusicMag theme has been discontinued. It would be best to switch to the MH magazine theme for more compatibility with the latest version of WordPress and other plugins.
Thanks and if you have other concerns, please let me know.

I am certain that the features of this FREE plugin remain the same. Yes, we have improved it to meet the requests of our valued users and to ensure compatibility with the latest versions of WP and PHP, as well as with Gutenberg. However, we have made sure that all features remain intact.
I’m not sure why you mentioned that you can’t control where all widgets will show. It’s possible that you may be unfamiliar with the new User Interface, or the plugin may not be properly set up on your website.
Please let me know if you are still using the plugin. I’ll be happy to assist you further so you can use the plugin without any issues.

In reply to: [Discussion Board - WordPress Forum Plugin] Can You Limit Topic CreationHi @wrmayhew
Thanks for reaching out. You can limit who can create a topic by creating a roles on Discussion Board under Settings >> User >> Permitted Poster Roles. Please see screenshot: https://snipboard.io/AJ36da.jpg
For topic groupings, you can create another Discussion Board for “fishing reports”. You can create a Topic Category but it is only available on Discussion Board Pro features.
I hope this helps. If you have other concerns, please let us know.
