I’m having the exact problem. It hangs on the first record, doesn’t import it, and then goes right to the Author Mapping button.
I exported my blogger blog into the Atom RSS format, and tried uploading it. WordPress replied: Are you sure you want to do this? And then had a link to try again.
Any ideas anyone?
