bp_get_cookies() is buddypress js function defined in buddypress.js if you use a template pack theme, or global.js if you use a child theme.

In the plugin i load the bp-activity-privacy.js at the footer of theme, like this i make sure that all js files are loaded. I realy dont know where come your problem,

Can you please check your theme or the loading order of your js files.
bp-activity-privacy.js must be loaded after gloabal.js or buddypress.js.

Sorry, but you need to ask buddyboss.com support about the integration.
Because the BuddyBoss theme use his own javascript code.

sorry to not answer in time.
I was fix the problem in the version 1.1.1, it was due the jquery .on event.

Only bp-activity-privacy.js was updated.

It can be easly added by filters, but i cant add it as privacy level in the plugin :).

if you want do it, just follow the code in \buddypress-activity-privacy\includesbp-activity-privacy-integrations.php

I was make a test with Mesocolumn theme v 1.3, there is no scrolling under activity status.

Make sure to update the plugin to the last version (remove the old plugin) and tell me if work.

add this code to your functions.php of your current theme. This code will set the default posting level in “Groups Members Only”.

    add_filter('groups_activity_visibility_levels', 'bp_make_logged_in_as_default_privacy_level', 10, 1);
    function bp_make_grouponly_as_default_privacy_level( $visibility_levels ) {
        $visibility_levels['public']['default'] = false;
        $visibility_levels['grouponly']['default'] = true;
        return $visibility_levels;
    }

if you want remove the selectbox from some case, just remove action

remove_action('bp_activity_post_form_options','bp_add_activitiy_visibility_selectbox');
