I believe that I have figured out why my install was doing just this…. I was logging in wrong…. I was logging in by going to http://www.mobileedgeonline.com/wp-login.php

Instead I needed to go to http://www.mobileedgeonline.com/wp-admin/

Once I did it this way, the problem went away. Too bad it was after 15-20 hours of troubleshooting…

But I think that this might be you answer.
