In reply to: Blank Screen on installOK, Ive fixed it following a sniff around here. Should it be useful for others:
Wasnt enough memory allocated in php.ini. I upped this to 30 000 000 from 838608
And then I could not log in! Delete cookies was solution.

Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
* Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
* Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
* Are you sure that the database server is running?..so, it would point then *not* to DB login. Since my server is running MYSQL 5+ I dont know what the problem is…

Client API version 5.0.20a
Im sure my DB details are correct….
