I was using Yoast. Do you think that could have caused an issue with my post title? I deactivated it. Would it still cause that issue?
What should be set in Settings> Permalinks?
It’s happening on both screens. The backend is where the page title loads and if I update it, The page new page title and slug replaces the old one.
It isn’t one specific page that it is happening on. It’s all of them. I’m trying to not mess up my pages too badly by editing all of the pages. but i can show you a screenshot.

I click a page i’d like to edit. The page loads. I see the original page title but after it loads, the page title and slug are replaced with the same title i don’t want over and over again.
Thanks but this is overly complicated, not user friendly, and i hate the design. There has to be a less complicated way of developing this. thanks
